Content submission licence
This licence applies when you submit written content, wedding stories, blog submissions, photos, captions, image details, or related material to IrishWeds.
1. Ownership and permission
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting content, you confirm that you own it or have the necessary rights, permissions, and consents to submit it to IrishWeds and grant this licence.
2. Licence granted to IrishWeds
You grant IrishWeds a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review, edit, format, crop, resize, excerpt, caption, display, publish, and promote submitted content on our blog, website, social media, email, and marketing channels.
3. Credit and website links
IrishWeds will credit you when your submitted content is used. Where content is used on the IrishWeds website, IrishWeds will include a website link where one has been supplied and where it is reasonably practical and appropriate to do so.
4. No sale of your work
IrishWeds will not sell your submitted content or publish your submitted photos as standalone stock imagery. The licence is for IrishWeds editorial, blog, website, social media, email, and marketing use.
5. IrishWeds photography awards eligibility
Any submitted wedding photo may be eligible for IrishWeds photography awards consideration. Submission does not guarantee publication, selection, shortlisting, finalist status, or an award.
6. AI and AI training
IrishWeds asks contributors to disclose AI-assisted written submissions where requested. AI-generated photos should not be submitted. IrishWeds will not use submitted content or photos for AI model training.
7. Third-party rights
You are responsible for ensuring that your submission does not infringe the rights of any photographer, writer, client, couple, guest, supplier, venue, brand, or other third party.
8. No obligation to publish
IrishWeds is not required to publish, use, review, retain, shortlist, or feature any submitted content.
